Device Inputs/Outputs

 

The device is composed of a proportional solenoid valve driven by an arduino.  The device input from the patient is nasal pressure while the device output to the patient is oxygen flow.  The device interacts with the caretaker through an LCD screen and audio speaker.  The screen is used to display patient status and history as well as alarms and alarm settings.  The nurse is able to interact with the device through touchscreen buttons.
